2023-2024 Schedule/Season

The Pilots are in a tailspin, losing four straight games; the only team in the top half of the conference on a losing streak. GU's regular season is over and they've locked up 1st at 16-0. SCU has locked up 2nd place. UP and USF are tied for 3rd at 9-6 each. USF plays are home against 8th place USD (4-11). UP plays at LMU, who is tied for 6th at 5-10. I think if UP and USF tie, UP gets the tie-breaker with their win over SCU. So a UP win locks up 3rd place for the Pilots, and a USF loss also does the same. Hope the women can recover their confidence and win Saturday. 3rd place means you don't face GU until Tuesday. 4th place means you have to play them Monday in the semis, assuming you get that far.

Pilots beat LMU 75-63 to finish 10-6 in WCC play, tied with USF, and getting the #3 seed with the tiebreaker.

Huge win to get back on track and lock up the #3 seed.  Really hope Flo Dallow is okay and that knee injury isn't what it looked like on TV.

Glad to see Emme Shearer receive her much deserved recognition. Daunting defensively counts for something in the eyes of those choosing.

A little disappointed Kennedy Dickie received no recognition. She belongs among the Honorable Mentions at least. You can make a case for Lucy Cochrane as well.

Kennedy Dickie is not eligible for an academic award per the criteria.

At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to her team and in at least their second year at their school.

In addition to the ten women recognized as All-Academic, there were a total of 28 Honorable Mention players including the three Pilots.

The men only had nine players recognized, and no honorable mentions. Lack of candidates?

LMU outscored St. Mary’s 30-15 in the fourth quarter to win by a final score of 78-62 this afternoon.

The Lions face the Pilots tomorrow at 3 o’clock in the Orleans Arena.

The women outscored LMU every quarter and dominated the middle quarters in a 78-51 win. They had 24 assists on 31 baskets, and shot 68.6% from 2P range.

Kennedy Dickie had 25 points in 28 minutes. No Pilot played more than 28 minutes.
