Hey guys whats up with my AZ guy Bayless lately. It was miserable for me to endure a few of those summer league games on the internet he was playing the pt guard at. Any trade rumours, IMO they need to unload him for as much as they can get because with Brandon Roy there for the next 10 yrs he's nothing but a sub.

His work ethic never was too good. BB came to him way to easy, and he's never had to work hard at it. I don't no why the kid went pro, his dad's a Dr and Mom has a killer job too. He must have an agent like Patty Mill's had. He sure would have improved greatly by spendig another yr or two in college at AZ to prepare for the NBA. But , who can turn down lottery $$$, its hard for these 19 yr old kids when all they've ever heard is how great they are since they picked up a basketball as a kid. Mad He could have fell into a situation like Mike Bibby did at Sacremento after his freshman year at the U of A which worked out great for Bibby. But Bayless gets drafted at a positon where the team's allready got an All-Star.Roy comes from the NW(Practically a Hometown hero) him from the SW another strike against him in General. Half of Oregon falls madly in luv with Rudy, strike two. The kid just can't catch a break......oh well. Basketball Basketball Basketball

Did I just read on the ESPN bottom line that the Blazers signed Juwon Howard?

What is he about 35+ by now, well maybe he can help bring some of the younger post men along in skill development and basic body positioning in the NBA (ie. Oden, etc).

If they wanted flat tops, they should have brought this guy out of retirement.

At least he is younger than Howard. And we need help there. The fact that ESPN has Oden as the backup C is not good. (Nothing against Howard, he has done a great job on and off the court. I loved that we signed him this summer. Both for what he could bring and because I am a Mich fan.)

Camby is the #2 rebounder in the league right now, and still a great shot blocker... I'd say it's an upgrade. Plus we get rid of the one man fast-break killer Steve Blake in the same swoop. I've also heard there is a hand shake agreement that the Blazers will re-sign Outlaw in the summer....

Everyone in the deal has an expiring contract. We need a true center, but just for the rest of this year, so in that respect it looks like a good trade.

Camby is apparently not happy about the trade. I hope this doesn't lead to more chemistry issues.

It seems to me that being traded from the Clippers should make him happy.

His wife loves LA, but he's enough of a pro, he can handle it...

I can deal with a disgruntled center for 5 months; it opens up more minutes for Cunningham, Rudy, Mills and Bayless (We have to be able to figure out what we have on the bench at some point...)

In the "hindsight is 20/20 department", yeah, I think he walks pretty good. Twisted Evil
