6-9/215 freshman forward Pavle Stosic from Serbia has entered the portal.

Stosic played a total of 46 minutes in his first year at GU, 15 minutes less than the coach's son, walk-on Joe Few. pale

Two other GU players with limited appearances, one a walk-on, previously entered the portal. Pavle Stosic, a 6'9" Fr from Serbia, appeared in 14 games playing 3 mpg and averaging 1 ppg. Walk-on Colby Brooks, a walk-on Jr, played 14 games this past year, and 8 games the year before. Also 3 mpg and 1 ppg.

So far, I have only seen Ajayi transfer to GU, and I don't see any incoming freshman recruits who have committed or signed other than one preferred walk-on. I believe Watson is their only player out of eligibility. Doesn't look like Ike entered the portal after some speculation he might.

So they should have at least a couple scholarship roster spots available.

WBB: Ines Bettencourt, a scrappy guard from Portugal, has transferred to GU from UConn.

Buried in the depth chart at UConn, Bettencourt was know for her lock-down defense in her two years at UConn.

Once a Husky, now a Bulldog. Shocked

The 6-5 senior averaged nearly 15 PPG in less than 25 minutes per game this season. Also considered Villanova and Kansas State.

Battle is entering his 6th season. Played 1 year at Butler, 3 years at Temple (only played 7 games in 2021-22), and one year at Arkansas. He started 32 of 77 games at Temple and Arkansas, and averaged 16.5 ppg in those seasons.

The 6-foot sophomore averaged 12.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 5.6 assists per game.

Apparently, Smith will redshirt this coming season...and who knows what the college basketball landscape will look like after this coming season.
