PILOTS RANKED #25!!!

Post by Stonehouse on Mon Nov 30, 2009 11:43 am

In the AP Poll:

http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/rankings

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!!

As excited as I am, I had to take a moment and think about what a journey it's been... so many disappointments, seemingly endless years of futility, and now we are truly among the best. What a wonderful accomplishment for the staff and the team... I am so proud of them and what they have done on The Bluff. Words can't really describe the mix of emotions I'm feeling right now... what a wonderful day to be a Pilot fan.

This is so awesome, Stonehouse put it perfectly. I can only imaging what it's like being a student right now with a ranked bball team.
What % of the student body is on a nationally ranked D1 team?

CONGRATULATIONS to the Pilots on their Top 25 ranking in the AP Poll. Not only richly deserved, but obviously richly rewarding for the UP faithful.

Keep it rolling !!!

When I first saw the news I was like this: Shocked. Then I was like this: cheers. And then I was like this: Crying or Very sad, as I remembered times like the three-year stretch where my family bought the six-game ticket package - and I never saw the Pilots win a single game. How far we've come. What a ride this season is going to be.

That does it. Screw history papers - I'm coming up for the PSU game on Wednesday. I'm going to watch a ranked Pilots team play in the Chiles Center - for the first time ever!!!

cheers

Seems like it might be a good time for Lunardi to come up with a revision to "Bracketology".

After all these years!!!!!!!!!!! TO BE RANKED IN THE TOP 25 rimshot Reveno is by far the best coach the Pilots have ever had. Negratti, Turner, Etzel(for 2 years) Avina, Steele, Chavez and Mr. Glasses Holton. Hopefully the University can make the appropriate committment to keep him here on the Bluff. Yahoo!

CONGRATS PILOTS! I cannot wait to get back, more than ever and I even asked Athletics to put aside a ticket for me for the Gonzaga game, just like Ship11, so we both can enjoy the PurplePride when we return!

BEAT PSU! Very Happy
