Pilots ranked #3 in Mid-Major poll

Okay, so it's not as big of news as the other. But, we have now climbed from 14 to 9 to 3 in the mid-major poll in recent weeks. We are now only behind Gonzaga and Butler:

I'm not sure why Butler hasn't fallen further, but, I'll take it.

Pilot's ranked 10th in Mid-Major Polls even with 3 losses. I don't know if the ranking means much because the Doug Gottlieb (ESPN BB Anouncer) says "Many Mid-Major schools get shut out of the NCAA's" (unless they win their Conference tourney. But it is nice to have something to see after this miserable week.
I guess this recognition would help for the NIT tournament or the other tourneys but at this point in a promising season those tourneys would be somewhat disapointing , grrh...

Hmmm... Any ideas about why St. Mary's got a #1 vote (in parenthesis)?

I wonder where we are in terms of RPI compared to the teams ahead of us in the mid-major rankings. We slid down to #83 in RPI last time a checked; out of the top 64 teams...
