Curious about tickets. Haven't seen any mailing about MBB tickets. Anyone know what the status is?

I am told the invoices to renew season tickets are in the mail!  They went out yesterday.

For those of us who renew online through the UP Ticket portal, the application to renew has been posted.

I believe all tickets will be via season ticket card or mobile delivery this season...no paper tickets!

I just listened to bits and pieces of this podcast that describes UP as a "pretty bad" team "that didn't get better" in the offseason, and will finish last in the conference.  The commentators did like Coach Legans, however.  

Like most podcasts, this was much too long at over 1 hour...fortunately there is a 15 seconds forward button, and the comments about UP are at the end. Toward the end, one guy mentioned that UP winning 1 game in WCC play was a goal.

With 100% new scholarship players, how would you know?

That's the easy take when you lose a guy like Ahmed Ali and didn't get anyone in that would be on anyone's early radar for all-conference.

We might as well get used to it. This is just the first of many WCC previews we'll see over the next month and a half. Every single one of them will have Portland at 10, and a bunch will say something snappy like "the WCC is the only conference in the land where first and last have already been decided."

Exactly!  But they still disparaged each of the transfers by name and said Coach Legans was apparently attempting to build his program around freshmen from overseas.

A huge clue that these guys had not done their homework and were just two guys jabbering was when they mentioned that San Diego would be hurt by not having Ahmed Ali back this season.

The PSU Football Coach bought 2,016 beers for fans at the Vikings home opener on Saturday...



Seems that is something UP could do...perhaps on January 1 at the WCC home opener against BYU!!  

That's 50 days until the opener at ASU on November 9, but on November 1 at 7pm (new time from the original schedule) the Pilots open against Lewis & Clark in an exhibition game in the Chiles Center.

The PSU coach paid $14,448, for 786 Deschutes IPAs and 1260 Coors Lights. I know how much Coors Light costs, so that's some expensive IPA!

Really?  More Coors Light than Fresh Squeezed IPA?

Was it a particularly hot day where people wouldn't want an IPA? Cave think of another explanation. Also I'm not sure about the math... 786+1260 is not 2064 or the reported 2016...

The proper number for a promotion is clearly 2021 in any case or 2022 for a potential January 1 promotion at Chiles.

Haha, no, you might remember that was the day we had heavy rains and temps that only reached the mid-60s.

In fact, the PSU game was delayed for some time due to thunderstorms...and no doubt some fans were hanging out at "Barny's Beer Garden" consuming their beer.
