2021 WCC Tournament
As expected, UP finishes the season in 6th, and along with all the other teams below USD, will move up one spot for Las Vegas...
As the #5 seed, UP will play the winner of Thursday's PU vs. LMU game on Friday at 11am.
The UP game should be televised on ROOT Sports NW.
Kudos to USF and SCU on their turnaround seasons...they deserve the #3 and #4 seeds in the WCC Tournament.

Unfortunately, we are in unprecedented times and we must take unprecedented measures.

Re: 2021 WCC Tournament
Well, that wasn't nearly as fun as last year's tournament.
IMO, this team really missed having someone like Kate Andersen, who could step up and be the first or second option when Andrews and Fowler either weren't firing or were in foul trouble. That stretch in the third quarter after Andrews picked up her fourth foul was just brutal to watch.

Re: 2021 WCC Tournament
BYU led the entire Championship game until Gonzaga's Jill Townsend hit a jumper off an inbound pass at the buzzer to win a VERY low scoring game, 43-42.
Both team's defenses were smothering the entire game, but BYU couldn't come up with the stop on the inbound play that began with only 0.6 seconds on the clock.

No, it wasn't near as much fun as the Pilots lost 74-56 to a LMU team that just kept getting better and better as the season progressed...Rob's Jacket wrote:Well, that wasn't nearly as fun as last year's tournament.
And today, the LMU coach, Charity Elliott, has decided to step-down after 9 years on the job.
