Final score was 3-0. The last goal was Jess? Danielle? acch... I can't remember. I'll have to double up on the Ginko-Beloba. The first goal was a header off a feed from either Jess or Halley from the right. Elli's was a sort of pass-rebound off a Foxhoven try about 8 yards out. I'd give her the assist.

I do remember it was on a nice feed from Ellen Parker, who was playing the AM position and got her first assist. She is looking better the more minutes she gets. she won some nice balls in the midfield and made a couple nice feeds to free people for some runs to the goal. a nice job by her.

good performances from everyone, really. The one that impressed me the most was Elli, who was putting on some nifty runs on the outside and cuts back inside, besides her score. She seemed to work well with Kendall on the left side.

Central defenders were Emma Nelson in the first half, and Kristen Kelly in the second along side of Cloee. Emma came back in for jess later, and Sarah Jackman played outside on both sides in the second half.

Eleanor Priest sprung herself once and got sprung by Parker once, and that made for a little excitement in the second half.

MO had another perfect day in the net, although she almost spoiled her perfect record once by kicking the ball off a forward crashing on her. She did make a nice stuff on a breakaway run by a PSU forward.

PSU looks like a much improved team from the last time the two teams met. Laura Schott is doing a nice job with her team.

Trinity on Sunday. Anyone have a time and Place?

The final was 3-0 Pilots. Danielle scored in the 2nd half. Sorry I didn't even think about taking a photo with my phone! The starting line-up was the same as in Corvallis. Hallee and Danielle up top. Taylor, Kendall, Keelin and Sophie at mid and Jessica, Emma, Ellie and Cloee in the back with Michelle O. in goal.

Ellen Parker, Elinor, Sarah and Kristen all played in the 2nd half. I think that's everyone. I'm sure someone will correct me if I missed anything.

Ellen P. seemed a little tentative in Corvallis, but today she really appeared to have gained confidence. She is going to be quite a player.

Favorite moment - Elli and a PSU mid going at it trying to win the ball. The mid grabbing her shorts and Elli countering with a swim move to drop her opponent. She was smiling as she did it.

The assist on the first goal was Jessica, on a nice cross in to Sophie. Cloee seemed much more confident and assertive in directing the defense than she did in her freshman games last fall (maybe the absence of Kelsey now has left that role to her for the time being). Elli and Jessica were creating opportunities most of the match and Keelin was excellent. Ellen Parker also had a very aggressive header that went wide right. The injuries of Kendra and Hailee were mentioned in the OSU posts. Other than them, only Molly Klier and Kassi did not play against PSU (not sure why).

I spoke to Bill Irwin at the match and he thinks the Sunday game it at 1:00 at NIKE.....
