San Diego has great Mexican food in old town...but, that and "senior night" won't be enough to win this game. I went to that ToreroNation website, and no offense but it's full of Kool Aid. That basketball team is good, but, it's not going to the Final 4. As for women's soccer, we win 3-1.

Thanks Auto, for the new word. (I love learning new words - should have been an English major like my father and daughter were. However, in my youth, our father smothered us with grammatical corrections so much, that I rebelled and by the time I was about 18, made up my own language. It included "ain't" and many other words that can't be printed in this forum.)

Back to "the match", which starts close to nine hours from this post.

Last game of the regular season. Yes folks, this most unique of seasons comes to an end tonight. (Of course, not counting the playoffs!) Feeling a little sentimental? It's a natural feeling if you do.

But is it a whopper of a season-ender or what? Honestly, who on this forum would have predicted the Pilots and USD both at 6-0-0 for the last match of conference play?

I always assume, with history as my unbiased guide, that it's the Pilots, SCU and maybe Pepperdine or another team having a great season. Even with its player losses, I figure SCU finds a way, so this is truly rare for them. Did I read somewhere that the Broncos have made the NCAA Tourney for two decades, or was it 25 years? No doubt, a one year aberration that they will not qualify this year.

Will the Toreros continue to build their program into a perennial powerhouse? Only time will tell. But expect a tough road match with a loud, emotional Senior Night crowd tonight at 8pm. Fortunately we get to hear the audio broadcast of the game tonight. Go to: Audio & GT Here

2 hours to kick-off. It still seems slow around here. But I do believe it is the calm before the storm. Starting at about 8pm tonight and lasting at least into the wee hours of Tuesday morning and maybe even into Tuesday day, we are going to, "I think" see an explosion of posts unrivaled in PN history.

Stretch audio feed at USD now notes "the women's soccer game is experiencing technical difficulties". Why am I not surprised. If anyone gets through please let us all know. GT is on but slow as usual.

Hmmm... 21 minutes into the game and already 6 fouls called on the Pilots -v- 2 for USD. Hope that's not a trend for the night. I guess our women are just fired up!!
