Women Win WCC - Men Place Second

Led by 2nd place finisher, junior Laura Pellicoro, and 3rd place finisher, freshman Fleur Templier, UP placed seven runners in the top-16 (only 5 count in the final standings, and there were 63 total runners) to beat runner up Gonzaga this morning in Malibu.

Waiting for the story from UP Athletics, but I think the last time the Pilots finished #1 was in 2016.

In the second race today, the men came in second to GU.

I do not have the stats, but I'm told UP junior Matt Strangio finished in individual first place.
