GONZAGA VS SANTA CLARA

Post by MesaPilot1 on Sun Mar 08, 2009 7:11 pm

gOOD GAME, sTARTED MUCH FASTER THAN I THOUGHT IT WOULD. ZAGGETTE'S ARE TRYING TO MAKE BRYANT RUN. S.C. FRESHMEN ARE PLAYING GREAT THOUGH.

IS LAVIN A "DONk" , SHARING THE SUGAR WHAT KINDA BB LANGUAGE IS THAT!!! WHAT A DONKEY HE IS , I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL ESPN FIRES HIM AND KATZ. THAT WILL BE A GREAT DAY. THOSE TWO WOULD'NT KNOW A BB IF IT HIT THEM IN THE FACE.

LAVIN LET GO BY ucla, worthless as a coach, worthless as an announcer!!!

Tickle's the twine,the M and M,,the smooth operator,etc...

Give's him some sugar,etc,etc
The Gael's had him at their preseason banquet(They think he's a super guy), if that doesn't give you a reason not to like St. Mary's then I don't know what will.

Did you see Patty Mill's wrist, it still look's kinda ugly. Maybe this is good new's for the Pilot's. They need any advantage to stop him. Everyone pray that he can only play limited minute's???

Gonzaga look's very, very good. Almost scary good, can you believe this is the same team that got torched cheers by Memphis recently. Then of course it is against 3 frosh and Bryant. It would be nice to see them at least give the Zaggettes a game in case the Pilot's preform a miracle and beat the Gael's

Any team that puts 4-5 guys on the floor than can nail a 3 semi-consistently is incredibly scary!! These guys are executing to near-perfection.

So when did Steve Lavin start doing the Bill Rafferty imitations?? That is just ridiculous. Sleep

He was all over the place during the UP-St. Mary's game. Some friends and I were commenting on how little research they did on UP prior to the game and how heavy-handed they were alluding to a St.Mary's/Gonzaga showdown--even during the points we were ahead. We heard a Portland State once or twice, and a couple of aeronautical references in a case of mistaken mascot-identity. What a clown.

I heard the Portland State reference too and I didn't have nice words to say about it.

I'm really glad they got a ton of shots of the St. Mary's students and cheerleaders for the fill-ins. I think those shots outnumbered shots of ANY Portland students and fans there 94-1.

Haha they did spend about 5 minutes with each announcer saying basically the same thing about Raivio, his brother and dad... And every description of the pilots player seemed to include the world "athletic"... Really guys?? Just imagine if Pepperdine or USF had been playing... They probably would have spent the whole time talking about Doug Christie, Bill Russel, Paul Wesphal or god forbid, Don Sutton...
