Well, I guess that's why they say half time scores don't matter much. Davidson 82 Zaga 76. Too bad for the WCC, but doesn't break my heart to see Bulldogs lose.

And Miami comes on in the 2nd half to win 78-64 over the Gaels.

Miami really overpowered SMC in the second half. The Gaels just didn't have an answer for their physical big guys.

As for the Zags... it was all Stephen Curry. What a brilliant performance... 30 points in the second half, 40 in the game.

Too bad for both teams... I really thought SMC would win that game.

Its all up to USD for the upset special... Can the Toreros channel WKU?!

OK, USD is also up at the half! Might be a bad omen considering how that worked out for GU and SMC. But it is a nice effort so far. UConn is huge, but USD is playing a smart game and doing well on second effort shots. Pomare is getting rave reviews from the broadcast crew.

They are another team with no senior starters. The WCC competition doesn't look to be any easier next year.
