Sure looks like it. Perhaps putting on a full-court press with early signing date coming up next week.

Yeah, I don't think there's any doubt that Marshall is UP's priority recruit right now...

Marshall has said he won't sign until April/May, and I believe Coach Reveno has already scheduled a visit to Palm Beach St. in December, but it would be nice if young Jarrel gets the commit fever and signs early.....as long as it's with UP. Cool

I didn't hear Coach Reveno on the radio last night, but Pilots Courtside is reporting that Rev announced that Carr plans to be back next season. If Livingston also gets a scholarship, that means there are just two more spots available in the 2015 recruiting class (along with Johnson and Russell).

He said that Carr was going to redshirt this season. Didn't say one way or another what he plans to do next year

A good question would have been how many signings he anticipates on NLI day tomorrow!

Chiir Maker (Signed NLI according to Coach Reveno’s twitter account): Well we’ve been teased for a while about some mystery Australian who had verbally committed to the Pilots, and today we find out that mystery athlete is 6-7 Sudanese native Chiir Maker. Not much is known about Maker, the cousin of 2015 phenom Thon Maker, which is rare this day and age. There is a small article that mentions Maker after his team won the Australian Schools Basketball Championships. In the final he scored 29 and grabbed 17 rebounds en route to being named MVP of the tournament. There is also a short YouTube video of a game winning, buzzer beating, 3 point shot but that’s all I can really find. I’m not sure if I’ve seen a player like this in Portland for a long time, so it will be fun to watch him develop over the next few years.

Man, is Chiir Maker ever an off-the-radar guy. So are his alternative spellings Chier Maker and Cheir Maker - just almost nothing on him.

Most curious is the fact that AUSAHoops.com has nothing on him. Not even listed in their Class of 2015 recruits and they seem to be all over the Aussie hoops scene.

Googled Chiir Maker...still almost nothing on where he's playing right now.

Listed as playing one August game (25 pts, 13 reb) for the Blacktown West Storm in Waratah League's Youth Div. I

More googling. @australianbball and its list of HS basketball prospects in Australia - http://pickandroll.com.au/aussie-high-school-prospects-men/ - you guessed it, not a word about Chiir Maker.

How on earth did Rev & staff find this guy when it seems that even the Australian sites that follow HS basketball down there haven't even heard of him?

We now have a PG (Johnson), a SF (Maker) and a PF (Russell) for the 2015 recruiting class. And the coaches seem to really be going after Marshall down in Florida - another SF. What else do we need? I say an experienced center to transfer in from a JUCO or another D-I school. Right now we are really thin at center for 2015-16, and I'm not just talking about Hartwich's physique Razz

Not sure the hay is in the barn on Colin Russell just yet. Weren't we supposed to see an NLI come through today? Nothing from the usual suspects just yet.
