In somewhat of a surprising move:

Rocco Miller wrote:Santa Clara AD Renee Baumgartner will step down as AD, effective June 30th.

Additionally significant, Baumgartner is/was a member of the NCAA Basketball Selection Committee through 2028. She will likely need a replacement ahead of the 24-25 season.

The school press release cites family health issues. Baumgartner (nee Mack) is from Portland, attended Central Catholic, and after graduating from USC worked at the Univ. of Oregon athletic dept. for 22 years.
