As Canzano wrote, Chip Kelly got it right... Nobody bigger than the Oregon program!

Oregon football Coach Chip Kelly is finalizing a deal to become the Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach, various media outlets reported Sunday.

Kelly met with the Buccaneers last week, and both sides are hopeful an agreement can be reached within the next 24 to 48 hours, the Tampa Bay Times reported.

Now it's reported that he is staying.

My guess is that this has more to do with money than anything else. Chip has a large buyout clause in his contract. Tampa probably didn't want to pay it, and neither did Chip. Of course all you will hear from Chip is the party line about how much he loves Oregon.

Maybe an NFL team will be willing to pay the buyout after he wins a national championship next year
