Wow. I just hope they´re student athletes and stay a few years... Leaving early for baseball is such a gamble...

Re: How about them Pilots to be??
I'm new to this forum and Pilot baseball but I'm pretty familiar with WAC baseball especially San Jose State. Hopefully I will post more in the future about the Pilots and WCC baseball.
Just checked the draft database and found the following four recruits drafted but still unsigned which bodes well. Tyler Glasnow was drafted in the fifth round and that's pretty high so fans should hold their breath and hope he doesn't sign which I expect he will. Kody Watts (15th round), Caleb Whalen (42), and Travis Radke (45) all stand a good chance of walking on campus in the fall and being Pilots. This is a pretty good crop of recruits if I have all the names right. San Jose State had one last year (Roberto Padilla 23rd round) and he came on board with the Spartans and had a good year. He just signed after being drafted in the 8th round. That's a substantial difference in bonus money so everyone gained on him going to college. I feel anything less than about the 10th round benefits the kid going to school if he has the will. There are articles that say you should go to school and make more money no matter what happens in the future. Good luck.
