Who are you rooting for in the NBA Finals?
I find in hard to root for the Heat, but I really want Spoelstra to win a title. What do you all think?

It's one of those things where as far as the teams go, I would much rather see Dirk with a ring than LeBron any day of the week. But if Miami does win, Spo being able to write "NBA Championship Coach" on his resume makes it somewhat bearable.

There should be an option for "I hope something happens that doesnt harm anyone but somehow cancels the Finals altogether, so we can be done with it already."

I have not watched 5 minutes of the NBA playoffs (except some Trailblazer games). I'll be rooting for the Canucks.

I need to change my vote. I found that I just couldn't root for Miami. I tried, but I just couldn't

I decided I'm rooting for Spoelstra. I've got no love for either team, but you've got to love Spoelstra, his work ethic, and sticktoitiveness.

I'm rooting for it to end quickly so that I can listen to Mike and Mike in the morning. When they spend 4 hours talking about NBA it is pretty unbearable.

It's hard to root for the heat when it puts you in the same category as this guy:

If they are only going to play 2 games a week there really is no quick end to this thing.
And DTR, why do you not like the way I dress?

If you had worn the Pilots Slip it In shirt, I would have been fine with it.

I thought if I wore it with those boots people might take it the wrong way.
Also, why do they need two days to get from Miami to Dallas? Are they traveling via amish carriage?

Best thought on the finals so far from Bill Simmons:
Great article on the NBA, too.

ABC & ESPN: Don't tell anyone, but if there's a Game 7, Disney makes an extra $110 billion (all numbers approximate). You might see everyone on Dallas foul out in Game 6. I think Tyson Chandler already has 2 fouls and the game doesn't start for another 48 hours.

LeBron James was walking around town and someone asked him, "Hey, do you have change for a dollar?" James pulled some money out of his pocket and said, "Sorry. I only have three quarters."
