LMU - 10-4 (1 non-D-1 win) KenPom 112 (6th) NET 101 (5th)  

LMU has notable wins against Georgetown, Wake Forest, Nevada, Grand Canyon and Tulsa.

The Lions losses came against UC Riverside, UC Irvine, Colorado State and Utah State.

Graduate PG #20 Cam Shelton is averaging a team-high 18.9 points per game, while senior F #34 Aussie Keli Leaupepe (the man with the mullet) adds 14.4 per contest.

The Pilots have got to get back on track tonight in the first WCC game of the season after looking downright awful at UCR where they were outhustled by the Highlanders for 40 minutes.

I understand Mike Meadows will again attempt to return to action tonight after suffering an injury and missing the last 9 out of 10 games.  Joey St. Pierre missed the UCR game due to an ankle injury, and last I heard he was stuck somewhere in Illinois after numerous flight cancellations.

Moses Wood, who has been nursing a tender foot, is questionable for tonight's game.

Most, including KP and Las Vegas, are favoring UP by 2 points.  

Meadows close to full strength would be a great Christmas gift for this squad. Go Pilots

Well I held on for the beginning of the second half, but missed Pilots dunk followed by LMU three and LMU three pretty much sums it up.

Yikes.

I hope these missed open shots followed by the boot on T-Rob doesn't tell me this is going to be (another) long conference season.

We left with 3:20 in first half. Loyola outmuscled us with pressure and very physical man to man and we did not adjuSt. Players did not appear to be talking to each other or calling out screens.. Tyler Robertson out.? I definitely. I I thought Applewhite was a good presence and I had hoped Chike could have been more effective
Loyola forced us to play their game and we ran up and down the Court without being able to call our plays.
Basically, they took us out of our “planned game” early and we could never get back.
UC Riverside but we hustled.
Bench strangely quiet - not usual supportive cheering.
That is a bad sign.

Here’s something positive: While “Cheer Squad” was MIA on Christmas break, there was a goodly number of seats filled and the “drum line” was great. Drums may return with “Cheer” but new found “fans” more problematic.

The very much-appreciated Drum Line is from Forest Grove High School where they obviously take percussion very seriously...

Chika and Jack Perry played more minutes than some of the starters. Neither of them scored any points. Hopefully T Robb and Moses will be back. They are valuable.

Legans post game interview was to accept responsibility. To his credit, , he did. Also listened to pre-game interview on Loyola and Pilots’sgame plans. Result: Loyola came out and ran their game plan, which was to “run” hard, no “set plays” shoot it up, and crash the Boards. Our “plan” was to “keep them off the Boards”,run “our offense” and ”not let the shoot 3s successfully.
Hoping for better at BYU

I turned off the game a tad early… What was the deal with T-Rob’s boot? Did he hurt it during the LMU game or was this something he’s been dealing with for a bit?
