You may recall my (too lengthy) earlier posts about UP's venture into video production...this is direct result of that.

I'm guessing that most of who follow Pilots sports will know the athletes and their accomplishment, but not the stories behind those accomplishments.  For those who don't generally follow the Pilots, this program may spur some interest in "that tiny Catholic school out in North Portland."

Re: the Pub name....a resounding YES vote from me....but more on that later.

PNut, you should add this to your announcement page since I can't post to it. I don't think many people look at sports in general.

From the show, it was discouraging to see how many of the top plays involved Riley Barker.

I hope everyone had a chance to see Portside last evening....it was an excellent look at a number of individuals and programs at UP, including the chaplains of the basketball teams and freshmen ballers Jason Todd and Jake Taylor.

Excellent quality videos....many recorded away from Portland.

I'm sure it will be available in replay on CSN and on the UP Athletics website in the coming days....

Ha-ha, yeah, ask anyone, I've been calling Gabe "Jake" since day one.

Don't know why....maybe it's because UP had another Oregon player named Jake who departed after one year.
