Dani - 2nd Game

Post by HRZag on Wed Apr 18, 2012 12:21 pm

Danielle Foxhoven played her second professional soccer game in Russia.

Though the final score of 4-1 sounds impressive, it actually went to overtime and then PKs.

After the opposing team scored to take a 2-1 lead at 80 minutes, Dani drilled in a score to tie it and send it to overtime. She has now scored 3 goals in 2 games.

I was sort of underwhelmed with the response regarding her first game. If you are not interested, I won't bother posting.

She is a credit to your university and program.

Hmmmm, 4-1 is not the correct score, as it was 2-2 going to overtime.

Maybe they outscored them in PKs 4-1? Sorry, I don't know for sure.

Yes HRZag, keep the updates coming. Geezer can't do it all! The Dani blog is really very good, entertaining reading. She could have a book in her future.

Thanks, HRZag, for keeping us up on Dani's wonderful experience. It's great to see her having such a good time on the pitch after her struggles last year. Her blog only adds to her legend.
