Doesn't it seem a little unfair that it's based on people voting? I mean that because someone who goes to a 20,000+ student school is going to have a much easier time than Danielle (who goes to a 3,300 student school). It seems like there would be a bigger alumni/student/fan base for them.

It's not all based on fan voting. If you read the voting page on the Lowe's site you will see that fans only count for 1/3 of the voting, coaches and the press get the other 2/3's.
