Anyone else excited for the college football season to get underway cheers

Anyone have any predictions for this season?

Another Civil War for the Roses? Very Happy
Notre Dame having a 2 win season and firing another coach? Evil or Very Mad

Let the tailgating begin! Cheers!

Bought the beer yesterday for our tailgate. Getting the food after work today. Forecast is mostly cloudy, upper 60s for tomorrow - I'll take it!

Wizzy - you want to make the trip down from Wisconsin!? I've got about 6 or 7 different kinds of brew to try!

For tomorrow, besides the tailgating, I'm looking forward to seeing what ND looks like with Kelly at the helm. Crist is pretty much the only QB on the roster, and he's only 9 months or so out of acl surgery. Alos looking forward to the OSU TCU game. It should be a good one, but you never know how first games will go. Pretty easy for them to get sloppy.

Would love to see another Civil War for the Pac10 championship. That would be the game of the year.

I predict Lou Holtz will be a huge ND homer until ND is mathematically eliminated from bowl contention.

No telling if the Rose Bowl will be on the line in the Civil War, but the Beavers will be looking nice:

For the rest of our eyes, Oregon better go retro too... I don't know if I can take anymore of those chicken wings... (Not that my opinion matters, at all...)

I would love to make a trip down, Rochin. But I don't see it happening anytime soon, probably for the same reason you will not be making a trip this way anytime soon.

My prediction for the season, Jake Locker is the next Jay Cutler. The scouts will love him, he will be drafted high and he will win nowhere...ever.

You could make the 0 into a 2 real easy. Wink

This is the punt return for a TD just before halftime. Cliff Harris (#13) is right in the middle of the shot.

I really like how the Pac10 is letting all the teams tweak the logo background/border colors to match each team's uniform. Hahaha at least someone's new logo turned out this year College Football Icon_razz

Remember when James Madison came here for a playoff game a couple years ago and we found out they were good at gridiron football too?

Yeah, now Virginia Tech knows that. At home.

Meanwhile Michigan and Notre Dame are playing and I'm not sure who I want to back.

Nevada is averaging like 50 ppg or something. They might be able to give BSU a run for it this year.

Navy is currently steamrolling ND. Don't think that will go over well in South Bend. Duck!
And Texas is struggling at home, again. Against Iowa State!?

UW Dawgs getting crushed by Arizona. Does any team have more bad losses (BYU, Nebraska, home to ASU, down 44-14 tonight) and good wins (Syracuse, USC and OSU)? Totally inconsistent. Suspect

Maybe UCLA? Beating ranked opponents on the road in consecutive weekends, then getting run out of the stadium by conference opponents? They could give UW a run for their money (in terms of inconsistency).

Great weekend of football. I'm still trying to figure out how Oregon came in with an average computer ranking of 8, two teams ahead of them lost, now Oregon is 8?? Both teams that lost stayed ahead of them.

How about Cam Newton? He reminds me of Lebron James, except he plays football. A guy that big and strong just should not have that kind of athleticism. He's a lock of Heisman unless he really screws up.
