College Football
Anyone else excited for the college football season to get underway
Anyone have any predictions for this season?
Another Civil War for the Roses?
Notre Dame having a 2 win season and firing another coach?
Let the tailgating begin!

Bought the beer yesterday for our tailgate. Getting the food after work today. Forecast is mostly cloudy, upper 60s for tomorrow - I'll take it!
Wizzy - you want to make the trip down from Wisconsin!? I've got about 6 or 7 different kinds of brew to try!
For tomorrow, besides the tailgating, I'm looking forward to seeing what ND looks like with Kelly at the helm. Crist is pretty much the only QB on the roster, and he's only 9 months or so out of acl surgery. Alos looking forward to the OSU TCU game. It should be a good one, but you never know how first games will go. Pretty easy for them to get sloppy.
Would love to see another Civil War for the Pac10 championship. That would be the game of the year.

This is the first time you get to have a tailgate party with an actual tailgate

I predict Lou Holtz will be a huge ND homer until ND is mathematically eliminated from bowl contention.

No telling if the Rose Bowl will be on the line in the Civil War, but the Beavers will be looking nice:

For the rest of our eyes, Oregon better go retro too... I don't know if I can take anymore of those chicken wings... (Not that my opinion matters, at all...)

I would love to make a trip down, Rochin. But I don't see it happening anytime soon, probably for the same reason you will not be making a trip this way anytime soon.
My prediction for the season, Jake Locker is the next Jay Cutler. The scouts will love him, he will be drafted high and he will win nowhere...ever.

HA! Sign him to a huge contract and then cut him 15 games later... And sign a USC guy fallen on hard times... Matt Leinart, here we come!

Re: College Football

You could make the 0 into a 2 real easy.
This is the punt return for a TD just before halftime. Cliff Harris (#13) is right in the middle of the shot.

I really like how the Pac10 is letting all the teams tweak the logo background/border colors to match each team's uniform. Hahaha at least someone's new logo turned out this year

Re: College Football
Remember when James Madison came here for a playoff game a couple years ago and we found out they were good at gridiron football too?
Yeah, now Virginia Tech knows that. At home.
Meanwhile Michigan and Notre Dame are playing and I'm not sure who I want to back.

Last week Cal beat Colorado, 52-7. Tonight they lose at Nevada, 52-31. Wow. Just how bad is Colorado??
