This was a game where we again missed Raivio (and BJ Porter) big time... we couldnt match their athleticism with our shortened bench. Nik could have helped create some offense when Robin was struggling.

Pilotnut,

IMHO I think your right about athletism, I think TJ was the only one that could match them head to head. With his quickness, ability to anticipate, awesome passing and tremendous leaping ability he stayed right in there despite only being 5'9"-5'8"(if you ask me). Next year when he is tearing around the courts in Europe I believe that is who Rev will wonder about " All I need is another TJ Campbell with these big men and shooters and we would have a better team them 09-10.

TJ Campbell one of the most underated shooters in the Nation. One of the top 25 Pilots to don a purple and white uni.Shares with Rick Ravio, and Jose Slaughter the honor of being the only Pilots named WCC Player of week in one season. One of if not the best all-around BB players in Pilot history (All-State running back in Football). On top of that one humble kid.

Some recruiting Info Pilots. There was a pg recruit who attended the game last night with his father. I saw the Pilots coaching staff chatting with him after the game.

Potential Recruit for Pilots?

Post by MesaPilot1 on Sun Feb 21, 2010 9:20 pm

Would Ironlions like to share the name with us if he can? Or his current HS or Junior College?

I knew athleticism would be a problem after watching the LMU vs. Gonzaga game earlier in the week. LMU is becoming a giant killer again, and if they go far in the WCC tourney it could really make the post-season tourney situation complicated...

I'm sorry I wasn't able to get his name. I just looked at your guys commits and I'm 90% sure it was already commited Derrick Rogers. I heard coach Rev say to him "we needed you out there tonight". Very Happy

I wasn't able to see the game and I was wondering if anyone can tell what happened on the inbound play at the end?

TJ(?) tried to inbound to Luke.
It was tipped by an LMU player and Luke reflexively tried to get the ball. If he had left the ball alone, it would have gone out of bounds as a UP possession.

One of a string of bad choices we made.

I thought it was Ethan, not Luke? The video was a tad grainy, so it was hard to tell what actually happened in terms of tips, etc...

It looked like Ethan, but I think the Video was probably the worst I have seen in 3 years. I have to say sorry Stretchnet, CBS All-Axcess just showed the worst ever video of a Pilot Mens BB game in 3 years Evil or Very Mad .

Thats two games I'm now very happy -St. Marys at Moraga and the LMU game we had won at the end of regulation if the inbound pass wasn't fumbled out of bounds Wink I think you and I both know what I mean. Mad
