UP @ LMU, Saturday 7pm
So, how do we think the Lions will respond to (1) the absolute pasting we put on them up here last month and (2) the big emotional win on Thursday vs. GU?
LMU is a much different team than the last time we played them, with a full, healthy roster... they are young, so I dont know how they will react to the win... I only saw a bit of the replay of the game, but it didnt look like a crazy "one player going off to carry the team to victory" games, it was solid shooting and a somewhat lazy GU effort that won the game for LMU.
Solid defense by the Pilots can win this game for us... and if TJ & Jared can continue to get looks, we get another solid road win.

Looks like viewing is available from All-Access off the LMU web site. LINK. Any other options?

I watched some of the LMU-GU game on their site last night... the video is very grainy, and the announcer has a very nasally voice, but it's better than nothing. And the price is right.
Hit mute and listen to Kolker & Brough...

I thought it wasn't too bad. it was better than watching the game on TV and listening to the Gonzaga announcers whine about how they were getting robbed.

I doubt it was anywhere near as good as Scott Hamilton's performance commentating figure skating.

Sorry, no figure skating for me. But the commentary on curling is riveting!

I'd sure love to see the latter; that would remendously help our seeding situation. As to the former, well, I cheer every time they lose, but hoping that they drop two out of three to the remaining WCC teams they have to face is a lot to ask for.

We can dream though right? Maybe Lady Pamela can distract the Zags shooters for us....
ANYWAY, tonight should be a VERY interesting game... Will LMU come out with the same fire as they did against GU? Will they try and clamp down on our perimeter threats (and if so will that allow Robin and Luke to have bigger offensive contributions?)? Will our defensive effort and ball control (we have been keeping the TOs VERY low which is fantastic) continue? Will Jasonn and Nem continue their evolution from garbage time players to viable bench contributors continue? Am I asking too many questions? Will Geez's quest for Pliny the Younger cause him to forget about the game? Is anyone reading this?
I need the game to start already...

Re: UP @ LMU, Saturday 7pm
UP7587,
I just had to start the topic of conversation.....Most everyone will need a few "shots" in the arm to keep us from going into late season depression like last year with the late season "blah's" like we faced.
The pleasant feature of this Veteran team is I don't anticipate a "collaspe" like last. I feel good about them,I love our defensive Intensity that Rev has them playing at. As mentioned before the growth of Jason to give us some muscle inside when we need the enforcer/space eater as fourth big man off the bench. In addition, Nems growth in confidence so Rev can work him in for this year and next (with Ethan graduating).
Its cold here, its 60 degree, but a win will make me happy

Mesa, I was referring to your profile of age 18. I was under a different impression.
