Either they were wrong, or you misheard them. They were involved in several non-shutouts this season, including a 3-1 playoff victory over Ohio State last weekend.

If that is what the announcers were saying, they were incorrect. All their losses were by shutout, but not all their wins.

FSU fan - how did your team look in the win?

I did not get to see them , however I caught the radio feed. It sounded like we dominated and should have put more than 2 goals across, every 7 or 8 minutes it seemed like FSU had a great attack going and a shot. According to those who saw the game FSU controlled the ball throughout and were mainly on the attack, A&M was content to just try to counter attack. FSUs announcers(one being Kate Milstead FSUs keeper last season) along with a beat writer for FSU and many others think FSU should have been awarded a penalty when Arnold(who played outstanding and had 7 saves) pushed our forward out of the way to get to a ball, knocking our attacker down. JP got sweet revenge in the 108th minute though . Here is a picture of the incident, I assume..





However the result was fair, shots were 21-8 FSU and SOG were 10-2 FSU. Shipleys goal for A&M was a great strike. Check out the link below for a write-up with video highlights and interviews.

Also, cheers on your win over VT, it seems the Pilots were quite prepared for the Hokies and came out firing on all cylinders. Your game next week should be an epic battle, two great teams and a match that should be taking place in College Station.

In a perfect world, we'd be hosting the Final 4.

It goes w/o saying Portland should have been a 1 seed, I already said as much when the brackets came out. I was simply saying that the match-up with UCLA is between 2 of the top 4 teams in the country along with Stanford and UNC. I apologize for any misinterpretation.

No worries FSUfan, we know what you've been saying all along. I just wish that this particular game (to advance to the College Cup) would be played on our home pitch. But the way our women are playing, I have full confidence in them no matter the location. I sure hope this one gets televised locally, though.

The way FSU has been playing, no can deny that they're a valid #1 seed. We lost pretty badly at TA&M.

I looked on the UCLA web site and I only see game tracker and audio, no TV. Does anyone know anything different in regards to TV coverage.

These things often take a day or two to iron out, so I wouldn't give up yet. That might be why these is no announcement yet on the UP site. Maybe they are waiting to announce the TV deal. Maybe? Hopefully?
