Tourney Results

UNC is tied at half time with High Point... must be a heck of a Bunker job.

I guess. The Heels are outshooting High Point 24-0 in the 65th minute. UNC's first foul was around the 57' mark, but they got a team yellow card around 46'. Would this be Anson showing frustration?

It's weird.

One of the best teams in the Nation that can beat any player on High Point's team 1v1 is trying half field passes to Bicycle kick finishes.

I don't doubt they will eventually get a score, but this is pretty undisciplined.

Wouldn't it be amazing if they got beat by a team with an RPI of 241?

OK, it's over. UNC scored in the 67th.

I've been watching about 10 minutes of the video feed. (I found the link on High Point's website, but not on UNC's.) I don't think High Point will even get a shot in this game. Virtually all of the play is in HP's defensive end.

I just don't see them as a legit National Champ contender... but I've been wrong before.

UNC didn't look like a top ten team; too much running around and not doing much of anything. Maybe they just weren't taking the game seriously.

It is looking like FSU will face Cal on Sunday. The Pilots handled them earlier this year, what is the scouting report. I know they have Morgan, who I think leads about every stat category for the Bears. I am hoping FSU can neutralize her and get some goals quickly.

USC and OK St going to penalty kicks.

Update: USC saves the first PK, but loses after 7 rounds.

Hmmmm the Ole Miss squad was seen in the downtown Couve area around 2 and I can confirm that there was a person razzing them... I'm assuming they were Huskies, but they apparently were wearing purple so who knows... (And no, it was not me)

Yeah, I heard the UNC score and thought, "Did I hear that right?" Anyway...

THE Ohio State 1-3 Oregon State. Well done by Linus and the Beavers. They get 3 seed Florida Sunday.

In the WCC:

Santa Clara 1-0 Michigan State AET. Anessa Patton in the first minute of extra time.

San Diego 0-1 SDSU. It appears someone on the USD bench was acting up as Gametracker shows a team red in the 84th.

Cal's defense is very good, There's no question that they try to run the offense trough Morgan. She's the best player for them on the field. You'd better be careful if you try to double her. If you leave Kervorkian unmarked, she'll kill you. (sorry, couldn't resist Razz )

they are a pretty physical team, but nothing like WSU. The front line does get off some nice combinations.
