Ellen Parker/Davison's New Project Empty Ellen Parker/Davison's New Project

Saw this the other day as I was scrolling on the UP alumni Facebook group, it looks like Ellen Parker (now Davison) has a new project with her husband that helps provide resources for young professionals trying to get a career in the sports world.
Seems interesting! Wish I would've had this when I was in school!

Ellen scored one of the most memorable goals in Pilots soccer history. Anyone remember what it was?

I remember like it was yesterday.
She scored the only goal in the 1-0 drubbing of UNC. It was 2012 or ‘13. Assist from Amanda Frisbie, who last I checked is still pursuing the dream in Europe.
The defense held them to 1 shot from inside the box. They had four other SOG, but I don’t recall they ever threatened Erin Dees seriously.  UP was the only team that defeated them that year as they went on to win the national championship. It is their last one to date.

Their stars then were Amber Brooks and Summer Green. I can’t remember the name of their keeper, but she was on the  Thorns team that won the first NWSL championship.
<edit> Adelaide Gay… it was bugging me.

The only time UP ever beat UNC. A couple ties in the Sinclair years.

The defense held them to 1 shot from inside the box. I think that might also have been their only shot on goal. UP was the only team that defeated them that year as they went on to win the national championship. It is their last one to date.
It was the 2012 season opener for the Pilots in front of 4,000 fans.  UNC was #4 at the time.
Ellen Parker scored the game-winner in the fifth minute on an assist from Amanda Frisbie. It was UP's first win ever over UNC.

At halftime, the Pilots honored alums and Olympic medalists Stephanie Cox, Tiffeny Milbrett, Sophie Schmidt, and Christine Sinclair
