PSU game

Post by A_Fan on Thu Nov 27, 2008 8:44 am

Tough game for the Pilots last night. They came up against a fired up and talented PSU squad. The Pilots didn't take care of the ball as well as they needed to and had a hard time getting their shots. The Vikings Claire Fauche who led the NCAA in assists last year was again finding her targets as well as hitting several shots right as the shot clock expired. Hopefully the Pilots will learn from this experience. Looking forward to seeing them at home on Sunday against Sac State.

On a side note, I ran into the Rapinoe twins as I was entering the Stott Center, they said they leave for Stanford today. Nice to see them supporting the basketball team.

I was there and saw what you did, A_Fan. The Pilots missed a bunch of close-range shots and were very prone to turnovers. On the other hand Jennifer Wassom had as good a game as I've seen from her and shot the ball very well.

On the Viking side I enjoy watching Claire Faucher and Kelsey Kahle play; both are gamers.
