New Orleans is 1-5 against D1 teams this year, but both of their previous two losses were by just 1 point. They'll play Boise State on Tuesday before heading back to Nawlins.

We should see the welcome return of UP point guard Mike Meadows during the New Orleans game...even though he may not start, and even though his rustiness may show.
His injury is a tough one to heal, so I am guessing he will be limited in the number of minutes he'll play, but just having him on the court should make a difference because even when he doesn't score, he can find the open man and lead/direct the team.

Without a doubt, the most complete, wire to wire game by the Pilots this season.
And I don't mean to take anything away from T-Rob's UP record setting performance of 15 assists in a game (he also scored his 1,000 collegiate point), but when the team scores 100 points and hits 55% of their shots, assists seem a little easier.
Somewhat overlooked because of the Pilots high powered offense last evening was their defense that was keyed to stop the two New Orleans players who were combining for 29 ppg...they were limited to just 13 points.
The 18 3-pointers by the Pilots only tied the team record, but still, I betcha the hitting 18 of 35 (51.4%) was a new record.
Next up, Finals Week, and then down to Eugene and then Riverside before LMU at home on December 29. Go Pilots!

Wasn't able to watch this one... what happened to them?
Pilots up 19 spots to #111 in the NET after the win. Still got some work to do to make up the 46 (!) spots they dropped after the NDSU game.

Meadows fell oddly late in the 1st half, we were worried he might have reinjured his groin. He didn't play in the 2nd half.
Wood took a hit near his eye late in the game. UNO had all their scrubs in the game, and they were awkward. I was worried about injuries.

After losing to the Pilots, 100-61, the Privateers from New Orleans didn't fare much better tonight at Boise St., losing 91-50.
Boise State's leading scorer, super-super senior Marcus Shaver, with 15ppg, did not play.
