I just checked, there is availability March 4-8, but the cost is pretty steep at approximately $155 including taxes and "resort fee."  (I didn't check beyond Sunday as that is when the GU fans begin arriving   )

When I have stayed there in the past, I found it was better to make reservations by phone and it is good to check back with them almost daily as there are cancelations as teams start doing poorly during the season.

I guess everyone finds their niche in life, and for this guy it's CBI/CIT bracketologies. I respect the commitment.

And he's got the Pilots in the CBI? I'm on record somewhere on this forum as saying I have no interest in the third-tier tournaments but after the past half decade I'd be happy for the Pilots to sneak into one of these things this year.

That was my first thought, too.

Then I looked at last year's CBI field and saw that Northridge got in with a 13-20 record and a 260-ish Kenpom, which could well be close to where the Pilots end up this year. (I think that's more of an exception than the rule, though)

Yeesh. Even if it is allowed by the CBI’s rules for a team to participate with a losing record, it should be disallowed by any sense of pride and decorum that UP might have.
