Columbia -- Friday 11/29 @ 7 PM
It’s the women’s turn to take on Columbia from the Ivy League…..game time is 7 PM on Friday at the Chiles Center.
The Pilots are 3-2 after last Sunday’s win over Seattle U. in a come-from-behind thriller. The Lions are 1-4 after their recent loss to Farleigh Dickinson by 10 points.
CU’s leading scorer is #11, freshman guard Carolyn Binder, who’s come off the bench in each game to average 15 points per game…..while shooting over 46 percent from 3-point range.
There should be a pretty good turnout of Columbia U. fans as two of CU’s seniors are from the Portland area.....Oregon City and Beaverton.
Not a good starting time for the game IMO, but let’s hope there are enough Pilots fans in attendance to make some noise.

Re: Columbia -- Friday 11/29 @ 7 PM
At times the Pilots were very frustrating to watch tonight, but a win is a win…….I would just like to see some improvement in the sloppy play we’ve witnessed to this point in the season.
Columbia was a pretty weak opponent……so sloppy play could be inevitable, but 15 turnovers are really enough to make the coach tear his hair out. On a positive note, the Pilots also had 15 assists….so there is hope.
The Pilots have another week to prepare for their next test, a home game against the Oregon State Beavers next Friday night. It would be great if we could get someone to establish their leadership of the team and tighten it up during the next week of practice.

Any word on Cassandra Brown's health? She looked out of sorts last night and her game reflected it as she made no shots from the field.
