The men beat Santa Clara 4-1 this afternoon, scoring 4 unanswered goals after going down 1-0. Eddie had a hat trick. The go-ahead goal was a PK that coincided with a SCU player (Matt Escobar, brother of Michael) being red-carded. From the video, it looked like he took a Pilot down in the box from behind.

Halfway through conference play, Gonzaga, SCU and UP are all tied for second place with 9 points. LMU is in first place with 13.

Tried to watch their video but had no audio and the live stats were not working and there was no display on the video showing score or time.

I think it's been pretty obvious to all of us who follow college soccer that UP is among the leaders in presenting live feeds of its home games, which even include replays.

The only downer on the night is that Eddie picked up another yellow. Another two and he will have 8 and will sit again.
