2012 Season Underway

Yikes, with all the excitement for the UP Women’s Soccer Team leading into the season, it's easy to forget our men started play today against Cal State Northridge.

The Pilots were outshot 20-7 and outscored 4-0, so it would appear on paper, and apparently on the pitch too, that the Pilots squad was totally outclassed by the Matadors.

They get another chance on Sunday, this time at Cal State Fullerton.

Sigh. I hope this team can get on the right track and back to the tournament again. I´m setting my expectations low. At some point we need to bring in more players who better than 3 star recruits to get this thing done...

The men’s soccer team raised nearly $4,000 for kids with cancer during the annual St. Baldrick’s fundraiser……and as an added bonus, they got their fresh athletic haircuts just in time for spring!
