Re: International friendlies
Final on the Argentina - Suitzerland match
Messi 3, Switzerland 1 despite several Switzerland muggings which went unpunished.
The first was a great back heel give and go with Aguero
The second was Messi getting sprung on a counter and going 1v1 with a defender, then chipping the keeper.
The third was on a PK after a takedown in the box.
The Magesterial Messi ( I gotta turn the sound off when Tommy Smythe is on) now has international goals to match his age - 22 .

Re: International friendlies

for the first time ever on a score by Clint Dempsey.
Josy Altidore held up a ball in the box and tipped it back to Dempsey who blasted it home. Stevie Cherundolo set it up with his cross to Jozy.
Then the USA held on with some gritty defense.

Dos a cero is back
This time it's the USA u23 team beating Mexico on goals from Agudelo and Diskerud( deflection from Adu strike)
A good day for USA soccer. We need to schedule more leap day games.
( bad day for Mexico. Their full team lost to Colombia do a cero as well)
