UP vs USF
The pilots pulled one out after a horrible start. They couldn't hit anything early.
They starTed the game down 16-2 and 23-5 , then settled in to a scrappy game that changed things around. They finished the half at 47-39.
USF had nine of their ten threes in the first half.
Rezina was out again, Natalie didn't start, but when she came in the team had more poise. She got stretches just before she came in.
Great games from Natalie (24 pts) and Cassandra Brown (18 pts.) - who played almost the entire game, and freshman Kari Luttinen showed she could play knocking down 13 timely points.
Good scrappy defense is what carried the day, and playing at a fast pace.
The final score was 78-76 from a shot from Natalie with with 01.1 seconds. Natalie also blocked the last shot.

Re: UP vs USF
Thanks for the quick recap, Geez. You may have a shot if there's every an SID opening at Vanport U. Sorry, I missed the game; always love to support the ladies.
It bodes well for our future that the underclassmen are playing so well. Again, I love the play of Cassandra X 2. This year, even with the good team we have, I'm afraid we're playing for 7th place in the tournament.
