Halftime at the BYU- Utah game 0-0.

Pretty even game on BYUTV ( channel 374 on DTV)

Their entry into the halftime show was about a BYU victory over UP 2-1 in the regular season Home opener - 2002.

as a refresher, we also lost to Utah 2-0 in our second game that year we won our first National Championship.

And then an interview with coach Jennifer Rockwood ( from Lake Oswego) where she named the conference home opener with UP as the highlight of their upcoming season.

Carly Payne is still a chippy player....

A few minutes into the second half, Payne gets taken down just outside the box. Second yellow on a defender. The restart is a goal off the crossbar.

BYU 1-0 Utah is a man down.

Pretty impressive crowd announced at 4,447.

Earlier today, I read they brought in temporary stands for the game. The UP game could be even bigger.

They also made a deal (twice) about how Lisonbee could have come to UP but made "the better choice".

They seem a little fixated. They'd better not forget about SCU, USD, PEP, and LMU.

Another good win for the conference. The WCC is now 4-0-1 against the PAC12

BYU current record 7-3-2 with the losses coming against U of Miami, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State.

I am looking forward to watching the game on FSC and am counting on some healing to take place with our women. Malloy Leahy played 6 more minutes against Northridge than she did against Irvine. I believe she can learn a lot from Cloee and can be her backup.

This game should be a good opportunity to see if any adjustments have been made in the UP method of attack on offense...ie the Amer. Football type of "go deep."
