It will be in Portland and televised on Fox Soccer Channel... Does anyone honestly get that channel? I don't. I don't even get ESPNU. I wish I had them though!

If you go to a gym or a soccer bar in Portland, you should be able to get those channels... I´m not sure how many soccer bars there are in PDX, but, more should be popping up with the Timbers in the MLS. They´re springing up all over the place here in Seattle. George and Dragon is one of the better ones up here...

FSC is part of Basic DirectTV, I think. At least it was when we switched from Comcast. But I haven't walked into a bar anywhere that doesn't have it.

I get it standard where I'm at, but it is a municipal cable system. I'm pretty sure you have to get the extended sports package to get it with Comcast. If you are an EPL/La Liga junkie like myself it is well worth the $5-10 extra a month... (Not to mention WAY cheaper than spending $15 a week on food and beverages at a soccer bar.)

Yeah, Comcast sport package for $5 a month gets FSC and ESPNU. Worth it to me.

Off topic a bit, but with the new WCC TV contract, that $5 is going to be more and more worth it as quite a few conference hoops games are gonna find their way on to ESPNU.

As long as you are looking for what packages you can get, keep in mind that some games we might want to watch will be on the BYU channel

$5/month for a sports package on Comcast? That is a pretty good deal I must say. Now if only UP could get that in the dorms...

Good luck with that. But with enough whining I'll bet you could get them to at least have it for the common room tvs, or maybe get a feed at the cove? Anything to encourage student interest as far as I'm concerned... But I don't pay the cable bills.
