No bid for the men
It's tough to sit home when you know you start putting it together and know can do some damage..
But it was a good season anyway.
Good luck to Austin, Vlastimir, Alex, and Jarad. At least a couple will see pro paychecks, I'm sure.
The guys coming back and the guys coming in lead me to believe they will be fine next year.
Tough to be sitting home though.
At least I can watch my Argentina team take on Brasil tomorrow morning.

Re: No bid for the men
The selection committee showed very little love to the west coast. 5 teams west of the Rockies got in......UCLA, Cal, Sac. State, U C Santa Barbara and Santa Clara. Biggest suprise of all was U C Irvine @ 14-3-3! I know our guys are disappointed, but imagine the Irvine team.

Re: No bid for the men
We finished at #65 in RPI, and that UC Irvine team that you mentioned finished below us at # 78 in a relatively weak Big West conference.
Just like any other NCAA sport, it pays dividends to have a strong strength of schedule...

Having a strong strength of schedule, finishing in the top 48 in RPI, or winning your conference's at large bid give you the best shot.
