Cheerleaders and Wally in Vegas?

So, I was talking to a student at the UW game yesterday, and she was saying how embarrassing it was that we were the only team in the WCC without our cheerleading squad or a mascot in Vegas at the WCC basketball tourney last year. Will Wally and the cheerleaders make the trip? I mean, it's not like this is our first year in Division I like Seattle U. Win or lose, we've got to make our presence known over there...

Our cheerleaders were there last year... The new Wally had not been rolled out yet. I assume at least some of the Dance Team will be going this year as well.

Rumor has it the band may be going this year, too... (PPT? PD?)

Nope...just a very nice person who just decided they wanted to start their vacation a day later. Vegas, look out for the drummer!

I am so happy the band will be going this year. The cheerleaders were there 2 yrs ago at Jenny Craig in San Diego. I missed last year,boo hoo,but heard the students,alum , and other fans had a great time with Clay and Basketballhead being two ravelrousers down there. Stonehouse and who made it from Pilot Nation seemed to have a great time. I am going to be there barring major catastrophe,(boss losing his mind).

Wally should only add to the experience. There is nothing better than WCC Conference Championship's, Mens and Womens NCAA basketball, and the whole atmosphere to make for wonderful weekend.
