Great news. This team is totally desrving of a bid

Once again, though, we get sent to 5,000 ft.

Does the NCAA have us confused with Sherpas?

So, the WCC got four teams in: St Mary's (@ Stanford), Loyola Marymount (hosting Sacramento State), San Diego (seeded 11th, bye), and the Pilots (@ New Mexico).

Very nice to see. Hopefully that strong conference tested the team and they could go deep in the tourney.

What are the chances that the New Mexico guys have recruited Lampert for post-season play?

Men are in!!! Empty Plying in altitude

Post by footyfan Tue Nov 17, 2009 9:42 am

I was at the game in 2004. NM isn't as strong now as it was then. I think we have a good shot and hopefully Biggs learned a lesson from that game in 2004. NM used it's subs , we didn't and suffered by games end. There were even NM fans in the crowd saying "he better use his subs or they will wilt by the middle of the second half"
We had them in the first half, we pressuring them all over the field and dominating possession. Then we ran out of gas.
We'd won a big game at UW then had to travel down to New Mexico...Mile high altitude will do that.

Good luck to the men!

That's so great! Hopefully, all this team needs is a chance to roll on all cylinders.
