Gametime: 7pm, @ Bakersfield.

The preview of CSUB from UP:
The Roadrunners (4-9) enter Tuesday’s game hoping for a winning streak after defeating Cal Poly (66-64) on Dec. 23. Cal State Bakersfield, like Portland, has been in a number of close games this season. The Roadrunners are 4-4 in games decided by 10 points or less and 2-2 in contests settled by four points or less. CSUB has already been in two overtime games, defeating Pepperdine (79-72) and losing to Pacific (67-63).

The Roadrunners have struggled offensively and are shooting just 39 percent from the field and averaging 66.2 points. Conversely, opponents are shooting 46 percent and averaging 73.3 points.

Two ‘Runners are averaging double figures: Trent Blakely posts 13.2 points and Santwon Latunde adds 11.2 points and 7.5 rebounds. Both players came off of the bench against Cal Poly.

Head coach Keith Brown is in his third year at CSUB and posts a 48-52 record. Brown returns four starters and eight lettermen from last year’s squad which finished 8-21 overall. CSUB is a Division I Independent.

Preview, from CSUB:CSUB Site

This is a game we should win... CSUB beat Pepperdine by 7 and lost to USD by 12. If we can control turnovers and shoot a decent percentage, I like our chances on the road.

33 pts. by Raivio... I'm not gonna argue with that and Jared FINALLY dropping 3s the way we know he can! Although I'd like to see the turnovers dropped a bit, and Hannibal..... 18 minutes 0-1 FG, 1 rebound, 2 TO, 3 PF.... Ugh... I hope Cosmo can come back soon from that concussion...

Ugh, a lot closer than it could have been... I really wish we could have put the Roadrunners away in regulation, with us up by 8 points late... then 3 consecutive turnovers... but solid play in overtime.

Credit to CSUB for setting a record for number of treys made... thankfully they couldnt shoot FT's worth a darn.

Nik and Jared were money, with Jared bailing us out at the end of regulation. Nik scored 33!! Shocked Luke with a great "intangibles" game.

We really missed Kramer, again, inside... hopefully he will be back on Sunday.

Its good to see us maintain composure on the road and pull out the Win... this will only help once WCC play starts!

Luke filled up the stat sheet for sure.... 4 pts 13 boards 5 assists 2 steals and a block?? As soon as he gets some confidence in his offensive game, look out... but only 3 shots??

Maybe his bro and dad gave him some pointers after they both took in the Howard game together...
