Big 12 over-rated?

If memory serves, Texas and Texas AM were ranked fairly high at times during the year, say 5th or 6th? After the way the Pilots completely dominated the Longhorns yesterday, and wore them out, one has to wonder if the Big 12 isn't over-rated? Going into the tournament, they had 6 teams. (Colorado, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahaoma St., Texas and Texas AM). After 2 rounds, only Texas AM remains, and they'll likely lose to Florida.

Whereas, the ACC has 5 remaining (Duke, Virginia, Boston College, North Carolina and Florida St.) and the Pac-10 big three remain. (Stanford, UCLA, USC). Although Stanford will be gone after the fourth round.
