UP beats USF

Jim Solars picked up his 300th win today as UP beat USF 80-78. Congrats to Jim!
Laiken Dolente scored 21, Allyson Sievers got 19
The Pilots led the whole game until the last 25 seconds when USF tied it up. I had flashbacks to the men's game with Pepperdine, but Burris got fouled with 5 seconds left and sank her shots. USF failed on a layup at the whistle.
The pilots look like they are playing better defense than they have in the past, as Tara Cronin got 4 steals and Kalie Burris got 2 and was usually on USF's best scorers. The only thing that kept USF in the game was some great 3 point shooting.
Today was cancer awarness day, so there was a lot of pink in the house, even Stoney wore a pink shirt, but I have to say the purple and white wig didn't go so well with it.
The ref's even got into the act. They all had pink whistles.
