How great! Cori had been in the camp, but then got invited to the Women's National Team Camp. Kelsey will be one of two keepers, with her old teammate Valerie Henderson from UCLA. This is a pretty serious event. The US's three opponents will be England, Norway, and Germany. This is a well deserved treat for Kelsey. Think it hopes that Bill Irwin is the coach

Yeah, Bill's still the coach. I think this now makes him the longest sitting coach in the ussoccer camp.

i saw this too. thought it was ironic that kelsey was a keeper with her former competition at ucla. not being as knowligble as my brethren on this forumn, i did not know bill was the coach of this team. here's to kelsey an a very produtive tournament. its been quite a while i've been as impressed with a keeper's skill.
