All the scoring in this game, other than Alex, came from 3 SO and 2 JR.
Lucy Cochrane had 4 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals, 3 blocks, only 1 turnover, and zero fouls.

Pilots only got 5 points from the bench, all from Frawley. GU only got 1 bench point.

Also can we please have Haylee on the court in the first game at some point for like 5 seconds? Doesn't have to do anything. Just let her have some sort of single stat for one tournament game.

Incredible achievement by the girls!

Little new to some of the seedings and ranking stuff still, so a couple of questions...

Does net ranking and AP ranking still get adjusted after the regular season ends, based upon conf finals results?

Are the zones or whatever the brackets are broken into defined for teams, or can a team be moved into any initial zone? Like with espn bracketology having us in Seatlle and Gonzaga in Grenville, is that a set alignment or could Gonzaga end up in our Seattle bracket for example?

Yes, the NET is adjusted daily and will reflect all the games played during the various conference tournaments.

In the first and second rounds of the NCAA Tournament, the Top-16 teams will host the Friday/Sunday or Saturday/Monday games (March 17/19 and March 18/20).

Then, with the entire field whittled down to the Sweet 16, 8 teams will compete in Seattle, and 8 in Greenville March 24-27, before meeting at the Final Four in Dallas March 31 and April 2.

Even after the "expert brackotologists" have weighed in, there will always surprises when it comes to final seedings, but UP as a #12 sounds about right.

Where the Pilots will actually go to begin the Tournament will be revealed on ESPN on Sunday March 12 at 5pm Pacific Time...which I think is a civilized 9am in Perth... Very Happy

The basketball and dance teams arrived back in Portland at 10pm last night along with at least 15 staff members, including UP's president and vice-president, and at least another 25 fans and family members.

I am sure many of have seen videos and pictures from yesterday's excitement, but there was one place where the cameras were not rolling.

On board our flight from Las Vegas, the excellent Alaska Airlines pilots and flight attendants were wearing their Portland Pilots caps while holding the very heavy WCC Tournament Championship Trophy in the cockpit...

The flight attendants kept the party going all the way from Las Vegas to Portland by comping food and drink for all...

I post almost exclusively on the Men's Basketball forum, but stayed the whole time in Vegas this year. What a great game by a great team! Congrats to the Lady Pilots!

Got so many positive comments from Zag fans walking around the Orleans, I almost need to rethink my hatred of Gonzaga.

Just for grins, I looked at Louisville's last few games...

In the ACC Championship #4 seed Louisville trounced #12 seed Wake Forest, 74-48 and the next day demolished offense minded #1 Notre Dame, 64-38, before losing to #3 Va. Tech in a 75-67 battle to end.

Looking for a ray of hope if the Pilots were to face the Cardinals in Austin? On November 19 in the Bahamas, Gonzaga beat Louisville, 79-67 in OT.
