- clinches a bye for BYU to the second round, regardless of how they do tonight
- matches up the #7 Pilots against #10 Pepperdine in Vegas

A Pilots loss...
- ensures a #7 seed and a Thursday start for BYU in Vegas if they lose to USF
- matches up the #8 Pilots against #9 USD in Vegas

So, umm. Go Pilots, I guess?

Pilots already beat USD twice. Hard to win 3 times. And they have extra motivation to beat PU. That's more important than BYU's troubles. Go, Pilots.
