Stanford...Announcement taking a Medical Retirement due to an ongoing injury. Any.one know what her injury would be.

Do not know, but it is sad news. She was a very good keeper.

She has had more than one concussion, including one in our match with them ( ran into her own player). She also had some other injuries, but that was the most recent.

Lots of luck to her. There are other things besides soccer. I hope she finds a new passion.

Sounds like a recurrent concussion issue, to me. She is not the first player we know of to have to retire due to recurrent concussions.

Assuming this is the issue, good for her for retiring. I have unwanted experience with young women and concussions. Those I know are fine, but may have permanent effects they will have to deal with. This is not something to mess around with or take lightly.
