UP Life Insurance?

Well, this is kind of creepy. I’d watch out Geez, it could happen at UP!

The Oklahoma State athletic department took out $10 million life insurance policies on 27 elderly boosters in 2007.

Elderly enough in fact, that over two years, the university paid $33 million in premiums for those policies before canceling the insurance.

Not one of those dudes died! I’m not sure the secret of their longevity, but each had to have been looking over their shoulder a lot during those two years,

As it turns out, T. Boone was the one who sold the idea to the athletic department. He too is still alive!

Well, there have been intimations of a contract on me, does that count?

And for the record, my wife and a best friend once discussed taking out a policy that I wouldn't make it to 30.
