It was good to be back at Merlo Field after a couple of weeks of away games. Tough loss for the men, but a fun game to watch. Better luck on Sunday, hopefully.

I thought they played pretty well, controlled most of the game but once again failed to take advantage of their opportunities and give away a relatively easy goal. Tough way to start conference but they've got time to make it up

Definitely an entertaining game - too bad about the result. It was good to see more of the bench used. We do need to find a way to generate more quality scoring chances though. One goal in three conference games will not get it done! Better luck on Sunday!

It's was good to see more bench used, because I thought that kept the team looking fresh throughout, although i'm not sure it improved our effectiveness. I agree that the one goal in 3 conference games will not work. They had a couple of chances, but failed to take them. I think the game would've been completely different if Connor slotted that freekick in the corner towards the beginning. It just seems like the boys typically fail to take the chances that they make and give up a goal themselves way too easily.
