St. Louis University on the schedule for next year!
St. Louis University (coached by Rick Majerus) is coming to the Chiles Center this year! Majerus confirmed it at his team's end-of-the-year banquet earlier in May. I had heard this rumored for a while and was happy to see that it is indeed confirmed.

There is some local interest in this beyond simply Majerus - they have Brian Conklin, a forward from Eugene who will be a junior.
I would asume this includes a return game the following year... could this be a part of a WCC/A-10 challenge? I know Gonzaga and Xavier are playing as well. Hmmmmm...

Other home games are Utah, Nevada and Boise State. Tough opponents.

Add in Kentucky and wow, Rev really wasn't joking... This is gonna be one hell of a brutal home schedule, esp with a younger team.
BUT in the long road the tougher schedule will be great for developing the team, I mean you learn a lot more from tough games, even if you lose, than blowing out mediocre to bad ones. I really like this approach, and hope it becomes the trend for Pilot basketball!!

My calendar is marked for the return visit in 11-12. And my eyes are peeled for flights to Portland in November. Lovin' this new era of Pilot basketball.

Haha... I'll let Deadspin just take it from there (And it's Deadspin so, uh, open and read with potential NSFW discretion) :

And if that wasn't enough:

And for good measure the SI article referred to in Deadspin (aka an article you CAN read at work):
